New Graduate DVM/VMD, RISE Mentorship Program - Carroll County Animal Hospital

RISE pairs new grad DVM/VMDs with experienced mentors in a collaborative, hands-on environment that promotes learning, confidence, and growth. 

What You Can Expect: 

  • Full-time employment with gradual caseload independence 
  • Dual mentorship model: on-site hospital mentor + national mentorship team 
  • Hands-on learning with real-time case support and guidance
  • A nationwide cohort of peers for ongoing connection and support 
  • Flexible start dates 

Who We’re Looking For: 

  • New DVM/VMD graduates seeking strong mentorship and support 
  • Veterinarians interested in General Practice, Emergency, or Mixed Animal Practice (based on location) 
  • Candidates passionate about high-quality medicine, teamwork, and continuous learning 

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Competitive base Salary 
  • All offers include quarterly no negative accrual for new graduates 
  • Up to $50,000 in signing bonuses for new grads:
    • Up to $35,000 new grad sign-on bonus 
    • Additional $15,000 for offers signed by May 31st 
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including paid parental leave  
  • Relocation assistance available 
  • CE reimbursement plus paid PTO for CE 
  • Paid VIN, AVMA, and Plumb’s memberships

  • We are a well-established hospital offering a wide range of veterinary services to Carrollton and the surrounding areas. Our 4-doctor team is supported by an experienced staff that is happy to share their knowledge and expertise through supportive mentorships. We practice in a state-of-the-art hospital featuring ultrasound, dental radiology, in-house lab equipment, a partnership with Signal-Pet radiology interpretation and ECG technology, dedicated surgical and dental suites, and much more. We encourage our doctors to broaden their skill set through case management, by having a collaborative approach, that also allows for better work-life balance. 

 

Pay Range
$110,000$110,000 USD
